Jointly organized by the Institute of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University, and the Centre Européen de Calcul Atomique et Moléculaire (CECAM) Beijing Node, the 2026 Summer School on Frontiers in Ab Initio Quantum Molecular Dynamics will be held at Peking University from July 25 to 29, 2026.
With the rapid development of quantum dynamics and electronic structure theory, the accurate simulation of nuclear quantum effects and complex nonadiabatic dynamics has become a major frontier in chemistry, biology, and materials sciences. This summer school will bring together approximately 40 renowned experts from both China and abroad, integrating academic strengths in electronic structure, quantum dynamics, statistical mechanics, AI-assisted computational chemistry, and high-performance software development. It will feature specialized lectures on cutting-edge topics such as nuclear quantum effects, nonadiabatic dynamics, and AI for Science, combined with hands-on practice, fostering talent and collaborative innovation in the field of quantum dynamics and statistical mechanics. We cordially invite outstanding domestic and international students and early-career researchers to participate!
