On Apr. 8, Prof. Zhiyi Song from Hokkaido University, Japan, visited our group. Prof. Song conducted postdoctoral research in Prof. Xi’s group from 2004 to 2006. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Division of Macromolecular Science at the Institute for Catalysis (ICAT), Hokkaido University. His research primarily focuses on organic synthetic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, and macromolecular materials. 

      During the visit, Prof. Song delivered an academic seminar on metallacyclopentadienes to the faculty and students. Following the lecture, accompanied by Prof. Zhang, he toured our lab and the research exhibition boards, and took a group photo with us. We sincerely appreciate Professor Song's visit and his insightful academic exchange.
